Primal Warrior

Strength that holds up under any demand.

Primal Warrior is where you build the kind of strength that holds up under any demand. Using Exxentric® flywheel technology, dumbbells and core PrimalThenics movements, this small-group class develops versatile, functional strength from every angle.

Wherever we can, our early-morning and evening sessions run under red light — easier on the eyes and in tune with your natural rhythms at each end of the day.

Why it works

Three reasons it works.

Unlock flywheel strength

Exxentric® flywheels load the eccentric (lowering) phase of every rep — the most powerful driver of strength and muscle. You get a training stimulus that free weights alone can't match.

Strength from every angle

Combining flywheel work, dumbbells and primal patterns builds strength that's versatile and robust — not just strong in one lift, but capable across all of them.

Coached, small, focused

Small group numbers mean real coaching attention. Your technique, your loading, your progressions — dialled in, not lost in a crowd.

Who it's for

For anyone serious about getting strong.

Anyone serious about getting strong. It suits people who've got the movement basics down and want to push their strength ceiling, as well as athletes wanting carryover into sport. New to lifting? We'll progress you in safely — but expect to work.

What to expect

Inside a session.

A 60-minute small-group strength session built around quality loading and real coaching.

  1. Warm-up & activation · 10–15 minTargeted prep for the joints and muscles you're about to load.
  2. Flywheel strength block · 25 minExxentric® flywheel work driving maximal eccentric loading, coached rep by rep.
  3. Dumbbell & primal strength · 15–20 minComplementary loaded work to round out full-body strength.
  4. Finisher · 5–10 minA focused burn to cap the session.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

What's a flywheel and why use it?

It's a resistance device that loads the lowering phase of a movement as hard as the lifting phase. That eccentric overload is one of the most effective tools for building strength and muscle.

Do I need lifting experience?

Some movement competency helps, but we scale and coach every level. If you're new, we'll build you in safely.

How is this different from PrimalThenics?

PrimalThenics is broader functional training. Primal Warrior is strength-specialised — smaller groups, heavier focus, more coaching per person.

What should I bring?

Bring water and a towel to every session.
